parties&entertaining : martini bar

Love this idea of a rustic martini bar for a party by Sunday Suppers. People have fun mixing their own drinks, which leaves one thing off the host's to do list. You can have an original ice martini recipe as pictured above, but also put out some ingredients for a specialty martini!

quality vodka, vermouth, soda, dirty water (olive brine), olives (I'd like to have an assortment), lemons, cucumbers, and perhaps some pearl onions, berries, and pomegranate seeds.

On a rectangle table, lay out a white table cloth. Use a separate decanter to hold soda water, vodka and vermouth. In a medium sized jug, have lots of olive brine. Place your garnishes in separate bowls, stirrers in a glass, and a few shakers out on the table. Lay out some recipe cards for people to follow! And don't forget a big bucket of ice! I'd label the liquid ingredients, you don't want people confusing the soda and vodka!
