A few months back I put together this post, and got great feedback. I asked everyone where they got their daily color inspiration from, and I came to realize, paintings and other forms of art is the greatest source of inspiration. The colors, lines, strokes blend organically. The piece by Martin Creed inspired me to search more of his work, and obviously expand to other forms of paintings. I had an art history class in college, which enhanced my appreciation for the creative discipline. 

With that said, after collaborating with Ashley on the most recent art for inspiration post, I noticed that so many of us bloggers and readers have a great appreciation for the art discipline. I want to open the doors and invite you to do art to inspiration posts with me. This is an opportunity to :

First, meet other bloggers and learn more about them. Art is such a unique concept that helps us understand each other. There are so many interpretations, emotions and feelings that go into a specific work. With my collaboration with Ashley, I got to learn more about her!

Second, brings attention and appreciation to the world of art and design. I mentioned to Kate, I want to use artwork by talented and young artists. There is so much to discover out in this world, lets bring it close to home. 

As you can tell, this is not a project to expand my blog or anything. I merely want to get to know most of you. Twitter and blog comments don't do it justice. I think this is a great way to collaborate. You don't need to have a blog, and if you don't I will give you instructions on how you will be able to participate!
