birthday countdown 2012 : dessert flag printouts

I spent most of yesterday trying to escape the heat from Florida. It's been so hot that my sweat glands have taken over my body and now I perspirate in inappropriate areas. Too much information? Probably. I also have zero summer clothes and only two pairs of sandals. It's rough, but I'm trying to find the positives out of it.

Lets just say that I'm ready for a real weekend getaway to Cannes. But, again I'm enjoying this party series a little too much sometimes. It's all I ever eat, breathe, sleep and drink.  I'm not complaining, and I really hope you're enjoying this series too! Also, just a little clarification... I am actually not, and I stress not, actually having a party like this. I am just designing this party from head-to-toe for you and of course for me. So, maybe one day you can take all this advice and host your own weekend getaway to Cannes themed party. Meal planning, to printouts, to outfits-the whole nine yards. What do you think?

I can't have a party without dessert and straw flags. Since I've been home I make them quite a bit because my parents love hosting friends and my family and I always end up going over and beyond [now you know where it comes from]. You can print these out and wrap them around a straw to serve with the lavender mojito or place them on toothpicks [like above] to place them in little pieces of cake [coming soon]!
