Deep into summer screams for ice cream! I didn't mean to rhyme that, it just casually happened. I went through a phase from high school and through college of never eating ice cream. I claimed I hated the texture, to be cool I assume, but that quickly faded when I started working a high stress job and very little sleep. I succumbed to the tender loving care that ice cream would give me. This was definitely too much information. 

Anyways, ice cream socials are so easy to have. A few flavors, some simple toppings, and an assortment of cones and cups. I think ice cream potluck socials are also fun! Everyone brings an ice cream and a topping and the host provides the bowls, spoons and cones. So simple, right?

I actually plan on hosting an ice cream social for a friend's bridal shower. She has tons of energy and is color crazy and so as I was checking out some shops online I came across Shop Sweet Lulu! Imagine cute, pretty events and lots and lots of color of course. You will find great ideas, supplies and prices over there and I'm probably going to end up making most [if not all] my purchases from there! Here's what I'm thinking, but I'm pretty sure I'll end up buying the whole store.
