recipe : whole wheat banana-honey muffins

We're still obsessed with muffins on c&é after last week's cran-blueberry muffins. These were done by complete accident. I have the tendency to purchase too many perishables, like fruits and vegetables. Within a few days of visiting the grocery store I notice my oranges softening, my grapes fermenting themselves into wine, and the worst are the spotted bananas. I don't touch them. It totally stresses me out. If you, however, give me a peeled banana that was completely black without informing me, I'd eat and enjoy it. Since I had the case of the spotted bananas, I thought I'd go ahead and make some baked goods.

  4. i have the same issue with bananas...can't be in the room with them once they start to go brown. they freak me out...but they do make great baked goods, so I'll be trying this recipe the next time I have a case of the bad bananas :)

  5. Yes, fairly healthy and the flax seeds add a nice little crunch to them. I wanted to add some oats, but didn't have any so maybe for the next batch.
