bit of life : thankful for

Can you believe that last year around this time I was preparing to cook a Thanksgiving dinner for thirty people and today, I sit here in the library… studying… not preparing for a tryptophan overdose. It’s okay though, I plan on feasting on the night of town with some authentic British cuisine. I thought I would take this opportunity to share what I am thankful for.
I’m thankful for…
the opportunity to study what I always wanted to at such a prestigious institution.
the supportive and endearing friends I have made here.
my parents who have been helpful with the transition process
because recently homesickness really set in.
all my friends who go out of their way to call me to remind me that I am missed.
this blog for helping me express myself since I always was a very private person.
you, for being a constant support group, enjoying my content, share common experiences to keep me at ease, all the emails of sweet words I get on a daily basis, being selfless.
Yup, I think that pretty sums up all that I’m thankful for, and I would love to hear what you are thankful for this year. Please do share. It kind of gives me a comforting, warm feeling as I’m so far away from
