My favorite when I frequented afternoon teas whilst in St. Andrews were the sweet, little tea sandwiches. Petite flavor bombs, as my mother would call them when she visited. I thought I would give you a nice diverse spread for the tea party for my birthday countdown series. A typical tartine and tea sandwich is a must, but small cups of soups and a unique puff pastry bowl would add a nice mix now, wouldn’t it?

Be sure to visit again tomorrow as we will continue to cover the menu, but with actual sweet indulgences! Can’t believe we’re in the single digits until my birthday!
