decorating a fireplace for the summer

Summer has been in its peak. I have successfully replaced my flats with summer sandals and afternoon teas with sweet and cold iced tea. Whilst on the subject of summer, I usually neglect the fireplace during the season. And since a simple, plain fireplace seems too lonesome and unfortunately too ugly in a room that is so effectively decorated, it only seemed appropriate to liven the space up and replace the glowing winter’s flame with something new and also inviting. I teamed up with Easy Canvas Prints to bring you an idea on how to decorate your fireplace over the summer.

Simply collect your favorite photographs, prints and portraits in an assortment of frames and canvases that compliment one another. Personally, I love the look and feel of a canvas, the depth of a black frame and the complimenting use of various colored woods. Easy Canvas Prints can make your photograph or print into a lovely canvas into an assortment of sizes! Just layer your items with your wider and larger pieces in the back and smaller pieces in the front. Also, I placed a transparent glass separator between the fireplace at the layered photographs. Then accessorize with fresh flowers, plants or candles.
