“It is good to have an end to journey toward;
but it is the journey that matters, in the end.”

♫♪ Lorde – A World Alone

I feel as if I’m pretty enigmatic when it comes to sharing more intimate details on my blog. There’s an obvious reason behind that. I like to keep my space whilst being able to experience and share. Well, it’s time to open up a little more.

The past year has been a really long one. One that pressed me to my limits. Tested my fears, confusions, motivations and goals. The blog is a space that allows me to release and forget about challenges and obstacles. Outside this beautifully, lovely world I am a geopolitical enthusiast, specializing in the Middle East and Central Asia and oil and gas development. Some of you may know this already as I’ve dropped hints before. The blog, c&é, is just a side project. One that has given me strength and courage when I needed it most especially when my what felt like my profession and personal life were faltering.

I too have been hurt by people, by failures. This is what makes us human, right? Well, changes are coming now. And with all the progress and changes that life has thrown at me in literally the last two weeks, I’m excited that changes are coming. Very, very soon. c&é will be moving and hopefully starting a more fulfilling and joyful life one that I can share with you more and more. So stay tuned…

This weekend I’m packing my things, setting up final meetings, and starting the process of saying goodbye. What are your plans this weekend? Hope you, wherever you are, have a stunning weekend! xo, S
