black & white

Scandinavian design has always appealed to me. It’s a clean palette and enjoys an open space, but it has always been a bit too industrial for me to live in a home that is strictly Scandinavian. Though when I came across a headline that read designer Naja Minthe’s personal abode. I knew I would find something appealing from a designer that situates Scandinavian design into history and culture. A place of chevron and herringbone floors, crisp white walls, low hanging lights {perfect for reading}, Victorian accents and garnished with a bit of culture and art.

  • Wow, what a beautiful home! I love the black and white hues. Interior windows are one of my new favorite trends, and they look wonderful here in the top image.

Love the industrialism of the windows, reminds me of older buildings and the appendage on the fireplace!

    • HA! The appendage on the fireplace is what drew me to search for the rest of the home! Great minds think alike 🙂 x

  • Oh God, this is perfect!! I love Scandinavian design too, Supal! I’ve been trying to turn my room into something like it, it’s going slow but definitely worth it, it’s like a detox to usual decor I think haha X

    • I can totally see you putting together a Scandi room. You should post little glimpses when you have bits coming together! x

      • I really wanted to make a post about it, I’ll definitely do it once it’s done (maybe 500 years later hahaha) X
