It’s that time of the year and this year all I can do is reminisce about going back to school, my first day of a new year. Though, now I associate this time of the year strictly with the changing colors of the leaves, the brisk breeze in the evenings, and the absolutely romantic sunlight as it pours inch-by-inch over the entire city of London. Instead of spending weekends away on holiday to the nearest coast, weekends are spent in the city pondering its gems. With a visit to the Columbia Road flower market and then a brunch and afternoon with much needed tea in a quiet little cafe off a bustling street. It was the perfect autumn day, in my humble opinion.

  • What a beautiful post, so well written – as always! You managed to capture the colours and the beauty of the flowers so perfectly, despite the conditions 🙂 And it really was a perfect autumn day! xx

  • Haha I always think of school around this time too, even though that’s quite in the past for me too. Needless to say for the 100th time how much I adore your pictures and how lovely you look. This really made me want to visit my local flower market, I haven’t bought flowers in about a month!! Shocking, I know! haha X
