Now with fall closing in on us, the leaves are starting to change colors, the air is more brisk and I’m looking forward to dressing with layers. This time of the year always calls for heartier dishes. Ones that are warm and filling, notably of squashes and pumpkins. I also associated the fall weather {with winter too} the seasons where I indulge a great more. My pumpkin cinnamon-sugar cookies are ones I make often, sometimes too often, and because of that it is easy to forget that healthy habits should not be lost. Here’s a little green treat, a fall salad that is warm and hearty and healthy, but packed with flavor from the cinnamon and cumin and fresh herbs.
