♫♪ Rudimental – Free (feat. Emeli Sandé)

This week has been better than the last. And all I can say is, thank you so much for all of your sweet and kind words. I’m not one who reads horoscopes or believes in fortune telling, but times are too confusing or grim sometimes I read it for reassurance. Just to see if there’s any guidance. I’m more of an idealist, everything will work out, but in times of difficulty that just seems like utopia doesn’t it?

Back to what I was talking about, horoscopes, I read it a week and a half ago and it told me that I usually fail to realize that there’s a bright light in my life that is constantly burning. That bright light is all the people who support me. Being a taurus, I’m naturally stubborn {that, I am}, and I often think that I’m alone in the world. I was glad I read my horoscope because it forced me to open my eyes to all the incredible people I’m surrounded by.

The last two weeks, my personal friends and family along with the family we have here on c&é have sent the sweetest, utterly kindest messages. Encouraging me to continue to do what I’ve been doing in the blog world and professionally. It’s hard to engage both worlds, but the love that has been pouring in has been incredible. From friends I haven’t spoken to in years, to family from distant corners of the world, to all of you.

So remember, even in times of confusion or in the midst of feeling like you’re alone in a big, big world–you’ve got a fan club. Someone is always watching and always appreciating.

With that said, I’m having an incredible dinner tonight at a lovely, little restaurant in central London. Then a bit of relaxing and possibly rowing in Putney tomorrow. Finally, enjoying a proper Sunday with {American} football and tacos. What are you up to this autumn weekend?

Also, the Shopbop friends and family sale is this weekend where you can enjoy an additional 25% off your order with the code “FAMILY25”. I’ve been trying to build my work closet and perused their site. Here are some things on my covet list!

  • My aunt has studied Astrology and I can help you with some questions! Since each person is born in specific place, date and time, he has a unique map, so you’re not only one star sign, but many more and this is why Horoscopes cannot be always right! Astrology is not a fortune teller but it can help you with advice like when it’s the suitable period to do something particular… But again, it’s in your hands! There is free will, so no one can forsee the future, but you and your actions 🙂
I’m wishing you a wonderful weekend Supal with lots of love and light! <3

    • Oh that is incredible! The indian culture really believes in that sort of astrology too. Giving location of where you were born etc. Thank you for the wishes and hope your week has been to a great start 🙂 x

  • Aww, I know the feeling. I’m going through a bit of a turbulent time in my life right now too, and I do at times feel that there is not light at the end of the tunnel. But it’s always good to have a support group of friends and family to fall back on. I know for me, whenever I feel like I just can’t go on any longer, someone in my life pops up and keeps me going.

I hope you’re doing better your, and that you enjoy your weekend activities!!

    • That is so true. My friends and family (which include all of you as well) have been so warm and sweet! I had a lovely weekend, hope your week has been off to a great start! x

Lovely links as always, Supal. Sorry I’ve been a bit scarce. Fighting migraines for the past week or so. The weather has got a mind of it’s own! Ughhh.

I’m with you on the horoscopes. I’m not one to believe in astrology, but whenever I do happen to read mine, it seems so spot on. Especially the Free People horoscope: http://blog.freepeople.com/2014/10/free-people-horoscope-tracy-allen-week-october-1319/

Thanks so much for sharing your new favourite fashion illustrator. Absolutely breathtaking work!

    Hugs from Toronto

    • Aw Donna, I hope you’re feeling better. Sending all my hug and healthy vibes from London! And thanks for the link! Going to check those out 🙂

Isn’t she wonderful? I might reach out to her to put something together. x
