It’s difficult to add personality to work outfits. I feel as if I get stuck in this vortex that is black and white, quite literally. Sometimes without thinking, I am repeating the outfits, as in they look completely alike. And so I sought various ways to add personality to my 9-to-5 style. Though it is tricky for a corporate environment, I find subtle and luxe patterns are very effective. And so here I have a pinstripes alongside a lace in a tamed lilac color with neutral accessories. A great way to look corporate all whilst upholding sartorial flares.

  • Your look is so elegant and chic, with pastels and different textures! You are so beautiful and elegant, not only outside, it’s the beauty of the soul that shows on your face! <3

    • You are SO sweet, Diana! I try to come off as feminine and put together as I can in the office… where I work with all men haha. 🙂 x

Ahh this is amazing. A little lattice or lace texturing in an outfit while keeping it conservative is a challenge but I like how you did it. You can not only keep your style but come off as professional and well dressed.

    • Thank you, Katherine! I love feminine touches and often mix it with masculine pieces. I even wore this skirt with a black blouse and tuxedo blazer.

  • this is such a great work look, I love the skirt!
