Autumn has been a bit nebulous in London really. There are days of sunshine and warmth from the sunlight, days of rain and strong wind, sometimes a quintessential autumn day with a medley of a brisk breeze and an autumn sunset and an occasional afternoon shower. And if you know me, I don’t mind a bit of rain this time of the year especially when I’m snuggled up with a novel or perusing one of London’s finest museums. And so, an afternoon perusing the Victoria and Albert Museum, visiting a few galleries and a topped off with a delicious brunch and cake… it was one of those days that made London’s autumn pretty much perfect.
