NYE champagne cocktail round-up

let’s ring in 2015!

This year, like any other, I spent most of my days scouring the inter-webs trying to find the perfect champagne cocktail. NYE is not a party without endless bottles of bubbly and of course a beautiful night that ends in laughter, smiles, a single countdown and perhaps sealed with a kiss. But before we ahead of ourselves, here’s a bit of a round-up of some of the cocktails I found inspirational for this year’s party…

Nº 1

Perfect for {mr. c&é} and of course the very typical c&é girl. A bit of bubbly intermingling with whiskey. It’s bitter, sweet, and that perfect blend for anyone and everyone. The champagne etoile from coco + kelley.

Nº 2

You know I am smitten with anything that has an essence of rose or even a slight pink color. A little winter floral infused in each glass of bubbly is perfect a new year brunch and well into the party. The rose champagne cocktail from design love fest.

5

Nº 3

Quintessentially winter for those of us living on the same side of the hemisphere. And sometimes the leftovers of Christmas treats and sweets need to be used immediately. A bit of sweet and tangy. The pear and cranberry from the kitchn.

2

Nº 4

There is nothing more refreshing than a bit of buck fizz {or mimosa, whichever you prefer}. But a little different rendition of the original recipe is always welcome for an evening. The blood orange champagne from Elizabeth Anne Designs.

Nº 5

A simple and red hued cocktail that may or may not match your red lip for the night. The easiest and simplest of them all and quite indulgent too. The red currant champagne from Sugar & Cloth.
