Most people complain that though London is quite diverse, the cuisine is limited. Even though I find the menu sampling pretty vast, I find it slightly silly that the burger and chips combination is what most people love going for. And to let you in on a little secret, despite my love for rose-laced macarons, I do love a hearty helping of “chips” or french fries. With some cheese and hot sauce, please! Though one thing I’m stunned by is the lack of variation in the burgers here. Most of them come with cheese, bacon and the “fix”, but what about some unique flavor combinations? And that is what brought life to this recipe…

  • I disagree with people who say London is limited in regards to cuisine. I have seen in the past few years the efforts of chefs in new restaurants and I have tasted things that I still dream about. And London has the advantage of having such a vast Indian community! The indian food there is amazing.

    • Ah Maria, you’re a girl after my own heart! It’s true that the Indian food is by fa the best I’ve had here… and my mom is one amazing cook herself 🙂 I think a lot of people just don’t know where to go. If you have any favorite London restaurants, please do share!! x
