the cadence of everyday
I’ve been trying to break up my day to ensure that no day seems the same. Only to keep myself
motivated and ready to embrace any challenges that come to light. As of late, with bigger
clients and bigger projects, we have hit brick walls that forced us to go back to the drawing
boards. Re-evaluate. Think. Implement. Try again. I’m not mad about it really.
But something I’ve been thinking about lately, as I begin comfortable with my new lifestyle
and now that this “new chapter in London” is really not so new anymore, I need to think about
the next change. I’m restless and constantly looking to shake up the everyday.
With that said, my parents have started talking to me about my future. Now that I’m comfortable
with my business, what’s next? I guess I get the restlessness from them. Am I ready for
love? Should I move to a new city? Are we ever content? These questions don’t really keep
me up at night, but just like I was excited to embrace London, I’m excited to see what
is to come next…

in collaboration with The Duppyshare
With the weather severely cooling off, and it definitely seems as if it happened overnight, I’ve
been seeking warmth. It’s funny that I spoke of the cadence and standard steps of everyday
and how I’m trying to keep away from the norm. Autumn always reminds me of pumpkin-spiced
lattes… and well, just about anything pumpkin-spiced. And so it only seems fitting to grab
the standard clove, cinnamon and cardamom when curating ideas for an autumnal soiree you’re
hosting with your girlfriends…
The Duppyshare so kindly sent me a bottle of their cask-aged rum distilled in the Caribbean!
A bold rum that beautifully captures the typical PSL-flavors that autumn is just perfect for.
If you’re in London, you can find their rum in Selfridges!
