starting the day off right

Not too long ago, Jar Kitchen got wind that I’ve been on a bit of a health kick and refining my diet
by riding of caffeine, sugar and other unnecessary things! I couldn’t help, but say yes after seeing
the menu. All delicacies and morning’s comfort food, but done with a guilt-less vibe. After my work
out that morning, I was craving a proper, hefty meal with a large piece of brioche, some bacon and the
works. But luckily Jar Kitchen saved my workout from being a waste of time…

a table for us in the corner next to the window…

So, we walked in and the table was set up right next to the window and it let in the very little
daylight that London had to offer. The atmosphere was homey, collected and fresh. With an assortment
of teas to choose from, I went for the caffeine-free rooibos. Soon after completing my tea we were
greeted with a blackberry-rosemary mocktail.

From there we chose our entrees of choice. I went for the salmon and avocado {I mean what a combination}
with buttermilk flatbread. The flatbread was not too heavy, extremely soft and had that slightest crunch.
That flatbread is what cured my hankering for an overindulgent breakfast.

a bit of crunch with some sweetness

And finally, to top it all off we had the granola and yoghurt parfait with rhubarb. A little something
sweet to accompany our savory meals. So for those morning sweet-tooths out there, there’s definitely
something indulgent and healthy for you!
