galentine’s day with aspinal of london

1

from a very special secret valentine

Every year, with a boyfriend or not, I have a ball celebrating Valentine’s day. To me, it’s a day where you
can show your loved ones {including your friends and family} how much you care for and cherish them. In
college, I would go over and beyond and put on a bright red lippy and go around giving out chocolate and
kisses on everyone’s cheek. Probably not the most hygienic way to celebrate, but it was fun nonetheless.

When Aspinal of London reached out to me to see if I wanted to participate in a secret Valentine with fellow
bloggers, I couldn’t resist. Luckily for me, I got Lucia from Style Confessional who has an incredible
sense of style: smart, minimalistic and very London. For Lucia, the large essential flat pouch in burgundy saffiano
was the perfect combination of romance and London-edge. I just used the gift finder to sift through my price range and
eliminate pieces that I knew wouldn’t make the fit.

and from my secret valentine

Though I don’t know who my valentine is, but it seems like they know me quite well. I was eyeing the
silk scarf as it’s super chic and perfect for the coming spring season. Along with the silk scarf, I received
a cute pink keychain that exudes everything from c&é and Valentine’s day! So whoever you are, thank you
so very much. You’ve got me to a tee!

the simplest way to tie a silk scarf

One simple way to tie a silk scarf for a t-shirt, button-down or just a dress is to fold the scarf in a
triangle. Wrap around your neck bringing the end corners together to the front. Tie a simply knot and adjust!
