spring romance

…sitting in a tree…

Seldom are the posts where I talk about the romance in my everyday life rather than the romance that surround sweet moments or gestures. The blog community is sprinkled with beautiful bloggers sharing their daily lives with their significant others and though that makes for lovely content, I’ve steered away from that. For one purpose and that’s for a bit of privacy. I share a lot on social media and now with Snapchat {shameless plug: chevronseclairs} in the repertoire, you get a healthy dose as to how my day-to-day operations run. Who I’m meeting with, what I’m eating, where I’m off to, drink choice for the weekend (including #tipsysnapz).

I guess this has been something I’ve always wanted to address on c&é, since the nebulous world of being an Indian girl is both stifling and interesting when marriage is such an institutionalized concept. It also occurred to me to address my “romantic life” when my snap-story included a video at a restaurant with a questionably tanned male hand in the shot and a reader sent a message asking if that was “him.”

Unfortunately, this post won’t answer what you’re looking for and has become more of a billboard advertising my Snapchat handle (remember, chevronseclairs). This look, however, sent over by Wallis was styled for spring weddings and what you will get from this post is the knowledge that there is quite an abundance of styles and silhouettes to choose from their collection. Though I prefer to keep looks simple and elegant, I did find a red off-the-shoulder number that caught my eye too. And just to keep you on your toes, I always take a +1 to the weddings I attend. Insert winky face and a devil face.
