I was going to refrain from sharing these photos due to the political upheaval around the Dorchester Collection, but I actually wanted to just share these photos to share a happy memory. Last weekend, I went out to Ascot to celebrate a friend’s birthday and we decided afternoon tea was the best way to do it! We sought something luxurious, indulgent and not in the middle of a city. We made our way to Coworth Park that sits on acres of beautiful land with horses roaming about and wild flowers in consistent bloom. The air smelled of lavender and the bees were quite busy too. You enter through a winding road full of wild flowers and come upon an estate that sits quite grand on a hill that overlooks a rose garden and then greenery ahead. I had been dreading leaving London for days leading up to it, like I always do. I kept thinking of all the things I needed to do and complete, but then realized how therapeutic the feeling was just letting go of everything and enjoying the moment at Coworth Park.

Upon arrival at Coworth Park, we decided to walk around the grounds to see the scenes. We walked through the rose garden then the champagne lounge. Soon after came the cabins and then the stables where we were greeted by a sweet horse. We started coming back around and ran into a mother duck and her ducklings crossing the street. Coworth Park is magical with its wildlife! After following the side of the lake, we went up the meadow and through a lavender garden. It was lovely with the sun shinning above us!

As you know, we spent much of the day at Coworth Park enjoying their afternoon tea complete with pink bubbles and an extra cake that came with some happy birthdays! Top tip for your first afternoon tea at Coworth Park is to go hungry and ready to indulge on two rounds of sandwiches! My favorite cake was the lemon drizzle and the teas were brewed to perfection! So, here are a few photos from that day that captures the essence of how majestic Coworth Park is!
